The Albertine Cinématèque series, with Sunshine Cinema, presents the hit film Happening(2021), an adaptation of Annie Ernaux's novel of the same name, looking back on her experience with abortion when it was still illegal in France in the 1960s.
Albertine Cinémathèque is a program of FACE Foundation and Villa Albertine in partnership with the French Embassy in the United States and with support of the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma et da l’Image Animée.
